2009 yılından bu yana ödeme hizmetleri sektöründe hizmet sunan tamamı yerli sermaye bir kuruluş olan PayTR, gelişmiş çözümleri, müşteri odaklı yaklaşımı, güçlü alt yapısı ve deneyimli personeli ile sektörde güvenilir bir çözüm ortağı olmayı başarmıştır. PayTR, Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği öncülüğünde TEPAV ve AllWorld Network'ün yürüttüğü "Türkiye'nin En Hızlı Büyüyen 100 Şirketi" yarışması 2014 kazananları listesine girmiştir. Liste sırası 10 Ağustos 2015 tarihinde duyurulmuş ve kuruluşumuz 5. sırada yer almıştır.
PayTR, kendi bünyesinde geliştirerek optimize ettiği yazılım ve kontrol mekanizmaları ile web mağazalarının fraud (sahtecilik) kaynaklı kayıplarını en düşük seviyeye indirgeyerek, sektörde kendine hatırı sayılır bir yer edinmiştir.
PayTR Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Kuruluşu A.Ş., 26 Nisan 2016 itibari ile 6493 sayılı Ödeme ve Menkul Kıymet Mutabakat Sistemleri, Ödeme Hizmetleri ve Elektronik Para Kuruluşları Hakkında Kanun kapsamında lisanslı bir ödeme kuruluşu olmuştur.
